Children need vitamin D
Vitamin D helps regulate the levels of calcium and phosphate in the body. These nutrients are needed to build bones and keep teeth and muscles healthy – especially important to growing children. Long term lack of vitamin D can lead to bone deformities such as rickets in children, which is an unusual but severe disease.

Do not use if hypersensitive to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients. The medicine should not be taken together with other medicines containing vitamin D. Vitamin D is fat soluble and can be stored in the body. If overdosed or in case of long-term treatment vitamin D could cause intoxication. D vitamin treatment should not exceed recommended dosage.

D-Vitamin Vatten ACO contain Macrogolglycerol ricinoleate which may cause stomach upset and diarrhea.

Children weighing less than 3200 g
D-Vitamin Vatten ACO contain 16 mg sorbitol per dosage unit. Sorbitol is a source of fructose. Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance and weighing less than 3200 g should not take this medication. To be stored at 2 °C – 8 °C (in refrigerator).
